No other horror franchise has spawned more fan films than Friday the 13th – I have no solid facts to back that up, just making a statement based on the amount of them that have crossed my desk over the years. Something else I’ve noticed is that the quality of the productions has steadily improved as well.
This brings me to the reason for this post.
A new fan film just recently landed – titled JASON RISING and it brings one of the franchise’s classic final girls back for another round with Jason and his mom. That final girl would be none other than Alice Hardy – once again portrayed by Adrienne King. Sure – she was killed off in Part 2 but for the purposes of this film, she’s still alive and looking to kick some Vorhees ass.
