SCREAM FACTORY Releases A Long Overdue Blu-ray of Mick Garris’s Take On THE SHINING

While Stanley Kubrick’s theatrical version of THE SHINING is considered (rightfully so) to be cinematic gold – the TV mini-series version of Stephen King’s tale is by far the more faithful adaptation of King’s work – and an overlooked viewing treat.

Until now the only way to view the mini-series was to search out the DVD release – which can be slightly difficult to find but SCREAM FACTORY is coming to our aid yet again as they announced a new Blu-ray release is now available, as in – right now, like today.

It was released on March 12th so – check out all the special features and then – I’ll give you the link to grab this overlooked treasure.

Here is what’s on the release.

NEW 2K RESTORATION FROM AN INTERPOSITIVE

11 Additional Scenes
1080p High Definition (1.33:1)
