I clearly remember when all this was going down. When the news dropped that Romero was on board to bring RESIDENT EVIL to the screen, the fan base went collectively insane. At that point in time the chat room and BBS that we had at Savini.com was a jumping joint and the news that George was bringing that iconic game to life – well let’s just say – it was cause for celebration but – as quick as the news came just as quickly came the murmur that alas, it was not going to happen. Rumors spread like zombie blood but in the end, nobody really knew just what the hell happened.
Well – thanks to a new documentary heading our way, we’re all about to find out.
GEORGE A. ROMERO’S RESIDENT EVIL – A DOCUMENTARY will take a deep dive into the script and try to answer that forever-burning question – what the hell happened?
Directed by Brandon Salisbury – the film is shooting for a 2024 release and today we got a full trailer that outlines what we can expect from the film.
