The V/H/S franchise has found great success with their found footage, grainy tape, old school style and they look to continue their reign of terror with the upcoming V/H/S/85.
A teaser rolled out today – and this one looks like fun.
This will be the sixth installment in the popular franchise and this time around we get segments directed by David Bruckner, Scott Derrickson, Gigi Saul Guerrero, Natasha Kermani, and Mike Nelson.
Synopsis
An ominous mixtape blends never before seen snuff footage with nightmarish newscasts and disturbing home video to create a surreal, analog mashup of the forgotten 80s.
The cast is led by Freddy Rodriguez along with Jordan Belfi, James Ransone, Dani Deetté, Rolando Davila-Beltran, Justen Jones, Marcio Moreno, Ari Gallegos, Forrest Hartl, Duffy McManus, Eric Pierson, Felipe de Lara, Tom Reed and Vivian Morse.
If you’re lucky enough to be heading to Austin for Fantastic Fest – you’ll be able to catch the film’s world premiere there but the rest of us mere mortals will have to wait till Oct. 6th when the flick with make its debut on SHUDDER.
