I really like the premise for this latest horror/thriller mash-up coming at us from the fine folks at BLUMHOUSE. Titled UNSEEN – it appears to tell a wild tale of abuse, murder, abduction, and broken glasses. Check out the eye candy.
Here are all the details from the press materials:
“Unseen, director Yoko Okumura’s feature directorial debut, is a frightening and audacious, fast-paced thriller starring Jolene Purdy (White Lotus, Wanda Vision, Firefly Lane) and Midori Francis (Gray’s Anatomy, The Sex Lives of College Girls, Dash & Lily) written by Salvatore Cardoni & Brian Rawlins and produced by Blumhouse Television and MGM+. Michael Patrick Lane (Dynasty, Sun Records) and Missi Pyle also star.
Starring: Midori Francis, Jolene Purdy, Missi Pyle, Michael Patrick Lane
Two women form an unlikely connection when a depressed gas station clerk SAM (Purdy), receives a call from EMILY (Francis), a nearly blind woman who is running from her murderous ex in the woods. Emily must survive the ordeal with Sam being her eyes from afar using video call.”
Looks like fun – sounds like fun – so, let’s add it to the “must-see” list – shall we?
UNSEEN hits digital and VOD on March 7th – just a few short weeks away!
