Horror Anthology SATANIC HISPANICS Lands Fall Theatrical Run

Big news from DREAD and Epic Pictures – their Latino horror anthology SATANIC HISPANICS has landed an 800 theater debut run in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico this September.

The five episode anthology features the work of directors Alejandro Brugues (Juan of the Dead), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!), Demián Rugna (Terrified) and Eduardo Sánchez (The Blair Witch Project). All hailing from different corners of Latin America and bringing their own style and commentary to the project.

Deadline outlines the storyline as follows:

“The film begins with The Traveler (Efren Ramirez, Napoleon Dynamite), the only survivor of a police raid on a house in El Paso, who tells of magic he’s witnessed, with each tale spinning into one of the film’s shorts.”

The film has done very well at film festivals – and it’s great that come this fall we all will be able to check it out. When a firm release date is announced, we’ll pass it along but – keeps those dates in September open for now.
