After 15 Years – Trick ‘r Treat Will Finally Get A Much Deserved Theatrical Release

One of the horror genre’s greatest travesties is about to be rectified. After 15 years one of the most Halloween-centric Halloween movies ever put to film will finally see the inside of a theater.

That’s right Michael Dougherty’s love letter to the genre – Trick ‘r Treat is heading to a screen near you. In 2007, when the film started making some noise amongst the fans, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures severely fumbled the ball and fans had to wait until 2009 to finally at least get a DVD release of the by-then legendary film – but this is the year – Warner Brothers has announced that the film will play in theaters for the first time ever – for one day. That day is Thursday, Oct. 6th.

Regal Cinema will host the event – and you can head on over to their website (CLICK HERE) and then search for Trick ‘r Treat. Boom! That’s it. It only has one showing at the theater closest to me so, if you don’t want to miss this opportunity – click and lock in a seat now.
