The RED CROSS decided to embrace the horror genre in their latest Blood Drive efforts – bringing in one of the horror genre’s legendary final girls, Neve Campbell.
RED CROSS states:
n horror movies, people make bad decisions leading to lots of wasted blood. Neve Campbell leads the storytelling in a lighthearted look at typical horror movie scenarios, and reminds viewers there’s so much more good they can do with their blood.
This is the first time that the Red Cross has used the genre to help bring awareness to their cause – back in the heyday of the SAW franchise they would host blood drives at screenings of the films every Halloween season.
If you can – go give some blood – support the cause.
