Here at Gruesome Magazine, we love us some Bryan Fuller – let’s face it – his work on Hannibal alone makes everything he does from here on out worthy of our attention – and today we got word that his next project is gonna be a big one.
Fuller has come on board to write and direct a retelling of Stephen King’s classic Christine.
Don’t have much info at this point – we know that Sony and Blumhouse are teaming up to make it happen – no real word on where Fuller might be taking the project story-wise but he has said it will be set in the ’80s and he will keep it grounded in King’s bestseller – so that’s all sounding good.
John Carpenter of course directed the original film – and it should be interesting to see what kind of twists Fuller can throw our way.
As long as Christine remains a 58 Plymouth Fury – I’m down for anything else he might have up his sleeve.
