(Teaser) ‘Showtime’ Wants To Make Sure You Don’t Misunderstand – ‘DEXTER’ Is Coming Back

Although the series finale left fans feeling a little out in the cold – I think it’s safe to say that that anticipation is high for the return of America’s favorite serial killer. DEXTER is returning to Showtime – and the channel has just released a little teaser for what will be Season 9 – eight years after the supposed series finale.

Yep – Michael C. Hall is back – if you remember right – cause it’s been a few years – when we saw DEXTER he was working as a lumberjack after all the happenings during what was then – the series finale. It was pretty much unanimously agreed that the ending was one of the worst in the history of television and that’s a damn shame because DEXTER had been – up to that point – one of the best shows on cable. Season 4 – what I refer to as the “Trinity Season” to this day remains one of the best seasons of TV ever aired.

Kind of nice to know that DEXTER will be getting a do-over to maybe, just maybe get the send-off he deserves.

We’ll all find out soon as Season 9 will kick off at some point this fall – I’m thinking around the Halloween season is likely a good bet.

Keep it here – as more goodies hit the wire – we’ll be tossing them your way.
