We should be sitting in theaters right now enjoying the latest chapter in the further adventures of Michael Myers – but COVID has decided it has other plans and now we all have to wait another year to be able to find out how Michael frees himself from the burning fortress that the Strode ladies have trapped him in – but escape he does, as is evident from this latest teaser for Halloween Kills that just made it’s way online.
From the press release:
Written by David Gordon Green & Danny McBride & Scott Teems, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, the film will be directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block. John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Ryan Freimann are executive producers. Ryan Turek is overseeing the project for Blumhouse. Halloween Kills opens October 15, 2021.
There you have it – hopefully, by this time next year, theaters will be open and we’ll all be sitting there waiting to hear those familiar piano notes being played.
Happy Halloween everyone!
