I think the collective horror community was holding its breath – hoping that maybe, just maybe this whole COVID-19 thing would start to lighten up and come Halloween season we might all be able to resume a more normal existence. If we needed any further evidence that we are far, far away from anything like normal returning anytime soon – it came today from Blumhouse and Universal Pictures.
Halloween Kills has been pushed a full year – now slated for an Oct. 15th, 2021 rollout. One would assume that now Halloween Ends won’t see the light of day till 2022 – although no mention of the second film occurred.
We did – however – get a quick 30 second or so teaser to help lessen the blow of finding out we now have to wait another year to see the finished product – behold!
Not much to break down there – house still on fire – The Strode’s still in the truck – looks like maybe Haddonfield might be looking for a new fire department soon.
To repeat – Halloween Kills delayed till Oct. 2021.
