Today, STXfilms and Lakeshore Entertainment released the first trailer for BRAHMS: THE BOY II , the sequel to the surprisingly profitable The Boy (2016). Taking over the lead from Lauren Cohen is actress Katie Holmes. Director William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside) is returning – as is, Brahms, the devilish doll. Just what is that little shiznit up to? The first film had a few surprises up its sleeve but the Grue-Crew still did not fully buy into or enjoy the film. Is it wrong that I take such glee in having them sit through the sequel coming February 21, 2020? Hah, yeah! Check out the trailer and let us know what you think?
From the press release:
Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into a guest house on the estate where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily the life-like doll he calls Brahms.

William Brent Bell returns to direct BRAHMS: THE BOY II. The producers are Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg, Eric Reid, Gary Lucchesi, and Richard Wright in addition to Matt Berenson, Jim Wedaa and Roy Lee.
