Mike Flanagan’s ‘Doctor Sleep’ Gets It Blu-ray Release Date

I find it rather puzzling why Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s return to the Overlook HotelDoctor Sleep – failed to bring the horror fans out in droves but – it didn’t, and that is a damn shame.

I’m betting this upcoming Blu-ray release will hit the fans right between the eyes though – I would hope so at least because – this is one kick-ass film!

With the news of the film making that trip to Blu-ray also came the news that the release will feature a 3-hour directors cut of the film. A full 28 minutes longer then what showed in theaters!

Coming at us in a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack – with the Blu-ray and Digital copy included – the following special features will also come along for the ride:

Return to the Overlook

The Making of Doctor Sleep: A New Vision

From Shining to Sleep

So – when can you add this bad boy to your collection? Jan. 21st, my friend. If all that fancy high tech stuff isn’t your scene – you’ll be able to grab the standard DVD copy on Feb. 4th
