Warner Bros. Brings Us Some Alien Baby Fun In The Trailer Debut For ‘SNATCHERS’

A trailer has debuted for the web series turned feature film – Snatchers. A full season of the web series is out there on the internet but somewhere along the line, it was decided to go the feature film route as opposed to offering up more seasons of the series. Good idea? Let’s have a look at the trailer and see what you think.

The film will be going the “digital-first and then DVD / Blu-ray” route with Warner Bros. offering up the digital release on Jan. 7th with the DVD/Blu-ray debuting on Feb. 18th.

Story-wise – here’s what you’re going to get.

“Senior year is going to rule! Thanks to her relationship with clueless hunk Skyler, Sara is totally in with the cool girls. But Skyler contracted an extraterrestrial bug during his summer vacation. After just one night together, Sara discovers she’s Nine. Months. Pregnant. Desperate to keep her condition on the DL, she turns to the only person she can trust: her nerdy ex-bestie, Hayley. The girls soon realize this alien problem is only just the beginning. Aliens had best beware in this hilarious comedy filled with action and tongue-in-cheek teen spirit.”

Actually looks kind of fun!

Mary Nepi and Gabrielle Elyse star – they’ve been with the project since day one – starring in the original short film, the web series and now – this feature film.

As far as that Blu-ray release – here’s what they will include in the way of special features:

– The Birth of Snatchers: A Behind-the-Scenes Look

– Unexpected: The Snatchers Blooper Reel

– Commentary featuring Directors and Writers Stephen Cedars, Benji Kleiman and Writer Scott Yacyshyn
