Helen Hunt Returns To The Genre In The Trailer Debut for ‘I See You’

When you hear the name Helen Hunt – you don’t automatically think of the horror genre but, she’s earned her stripes. Hell, starring in the Trancer series of films back in the 80’s give her enough genre cred to earn our attention. Also, Twister – c’mon, who doesn’t freaking love Twister.

Regardless, Helen has a new flick coming out – and it’s a horror film. Titled I See You – it was filmed right here in my own stomping ground in Northeast Ohio and tonight, we’ve got a trailer.

Saban films are releasing the flick – and here’s the synopsis they provided:

“Helen Hunt stars in the mind-twisting psychological thriller I See You. When a 12 year-old boy goes missing, lead investigator Greg Harper (Jon Tenney) struggles to balance the pressure of the investigation and troubles with his wife, Jackie (Hunt). Facing a recent affair, great strain is put on the family and slowly gnaws away at Jackie’s grip on reality. But after a malicious presence manifests itself in their home and puts their son, Connor (Judah Lewis), in mortal danger, the cold, hard truth about evil in the Harper household is finally uncovered.”

Don’t have a firm release date for you yet – it has done well on the festival circuit – so hopefully, Saban Films will get it on their release schedule soon. What I can show today though – is the brand new one sheet.
