Upcoming Films for July 19, 2019

IRON SKY: THE COMING RACE tops the genre films coming out this week in theaters, DVD/Blu-ray, and VOD. A sequel to the surprise cult hit from 2012, Iron Sky, the 2019 film follows our heroes decades later as Earth is in ruins and humanity lives on the dark side of the moon. Oh, and, yeah, Hitler rides a T-Rex! Also arriving this week is the theatrical/VOD return to the Critters franchise with CRITTERS ATTACK!, which just debuted at Fantasia. Fan favorite director Tom (Fright Night, Child’s Play) Holland returns with ROCK PAPER SCISSORS. Also arriving this week is LUZ, an entirely different and unique look at the possession subgenre. It’s a busy, busy Summer weekend. Check out the Gruesome Magazine calendar for the details on this week’s film and for upcoming releases, conventions, film festivals, and concerts.
