The Final Trailer For ‘Stranger Things S3’ Brings The Battle For Humanity To The Mall

Here we sit, a mere few weeks from the Season Three debut of Stranger Things – a great job has been done to this point building excitement for this next chapter and I’m happy to report – the final trailer is the icing on the cake! I’m sold – I officially can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with for the third chapter of this story.

I’ve left no doubt in anyone’s mind on how disappointed I was with Season Two and frankly – at that point, I really didn’t much care if a third chapter ever made’s it way to my eyeballs but – of course – there was never any doubt that this cash cow wasn’t going in for another milking but if this trailer you’re about to see is even a small indication of what they’ve come up with – it’s looking like they might have gotten the narrative back on track.

At it’s best Stranger Things is a fun throwback to a bygone era that some of us are fortunate enough to be able to call our formative years. This is how I remember Season One. At its worst Stranger Things is a lackluster parody of that same time period. This is how I remember Season Two

How will I remember Season Three? We’re all going to find out in a few short weeks. The synopsis for S3:

“It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”

Get those binge watching sweats on – again, July 4th on Netflix.
