Mr. Barlow Will Rise Again As James Wan Is Set To Give Us His Take On ‘Salem’s Lot’

You would be hard pressed to find a horror fan that would not put Stephen King’s classic vampire tale Salem’s Lot – and the Tobe Hopper directed TV flick it spawned – high on their list of all-time favorite horror things.

The book and the film have both stood the test of time and you know what that means! It must be remade!

Some kind of exciting news on this remake front though – THR is reporting that James Wan and Gary Dauberman are on board to helm the remake. Dauberman will write and handle executive producer tasks with Wan wearing the producer pants this time around.

These two have had their hands (as I know you are aware) in a ton of recent horror hits and the thought of them bringing their stylings to a Stephen King tale – I’m all in!

No other major news on this one just yet but – it’s happening and all is right with the world.
