Welcome To Gruesome Music – So, What The Hell Is This All About?

As some of you may already be aware – for the last six years or so I have also written and taken event pictures for a handful of music sites. Rock Revolt Magazine, The Rust Belt Chronicles and most recently NEO Music Scene – all of these experiences hold special places for me and I loved working for each and every one of them – and consider all the wonderful people I met and have worked beside along the way to be my friends but – at those publications I was always working for someone else – towing someone else’s line and having to follow someone else’s standards. Always jockeying for gigs and waiting for someone else to tell me that any said gig was mine to shoot or cover. Not going to lie, it was always a bit maddening.

So, a week or so back, John and I got to talking and I was expressing to him what I just explained to you above and just like that – Gruesome Music was born. With Gruesome Magazine, we have assembled an amazing group of talent and guess what – it turns out that most of them like music too so, offering this new section is actually pretty much a no-brainer.

If you’ve enjoyed the content I’ve been providing you at those other sites – you’re going to get the exact same thing here – album reviews, show reviews, concert photo galleries, music news, interviews – we are going to cover it all here at Gruesome Music.

John and I are excited to be adding this new content – and to be able to offer our staff the ability to share their love of music – as they’ve shared their love of genre cinema with all of you who are awesome enough to check in with us. Be watching this space over the coming weeks as we crank Gruesome Music up to ten. It’s going to be a wild ride – and it won’t be the same if you’re not sitting beside us.
