It seems that The Haunting Of Hill House is very high on everyone’s Halloween season watch list – and with it being only about 10 days away from hitting everyone’s streaming queue – it’s time to give it a bit more of an in-depth look and luckily – the folks at Netflix agree and have coughed up the goods in the form of a new featurette that allows us to sit down and have someone on one time with director Mike Flanagan. Titled Directing Fear – it’s pretty damn good – judge for yourself.
The press release reminds us of the following:
“A modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s iconic novel, The Haunting of Hill House explores a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past — some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House. Trevor Macy serves as executive producer alongside Flanagan. Meredith Averill acts as co-showrunner and executive producer. Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank executive produce, as well.
