With blazing riffs from Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song, Marvel unleashes the first trailer for Taika Waititi’s Thor Ragnarok, the third Thor film. The entire trailer is sizzling from the introduction to Hela to the destruction of Mjolnir and Asgard to the first glimpse at the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) to a quick, blink-and-you-miss-it shot of Skurge, The Executioner (Karl Urban) to “The Main Event!” Yes, the trailer wisely ends with the rocking introduction of the Hulk in full Planet Hulk gear. Tremendous! I have to say, I am incredibly excited to see this film and the trailer is whetting that appetite gloriously. Bring it on, Marvel!
Hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new land. To fight the hordes and sing, and cry. Valhalla, I am coming.
Let’s take a look at the trailer followed by a few choice screen captures. Enjoy! Thor Ragnarok packs arenas November 3, 2017. See you there!
