Roland Emmerich returns to the characters President Whitmore and David Levinson this June with the Summer block buster sequel Independence Day: Resurgence. It is 20 years later and the aliens from the first ID4 film are back…and they are pissed. Liam Hemsworth, Jesse Usher and Maika Monroe are the next generation of heroes.
