[Podcast] The Other Side of the Door — Episode 153 — Horror News Radio

On this week’s episode, the Grue-crew follow Sarah Wayne Callies to India for her film  THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR  from director Johannes Roberts. The film introduces a new creature called Myrtu played by Javier Botet and features Jeremy Sisto, Sofia Rosinsky and Suchitra Pillai in supporting roles. The reviews are across the board but not a contentious as the horrific box office receipts as the film places 16  on its opening weekend with a 1.2 million take. Oh, my.

In addition, the Grue-Crew announce the winners of both the Stump the Saint prize and the Grue-believer prize. It’s a great time to be an HNR listener!

Co-hosts  Doc Rotten,  Santos (The Black Saint) Ellin Jr.,  Dave Dreher,  Thomas Mariani  and  Vixen, the voice of reason, are back again this week to give you the best in horror as they recap, review and obliterate all that is horror this week!  Oh, and don’t forget – Stump the Saint! A family lives an idyllic existence abroad until a tragic accident takes the life of their young son. The inconsolable mother learns of an ancient ritual that will bring him back to say a final goodbye. She travels to an ancient temple, where a door serves as a mysterious portal between two worlds. But when she disobeys a sacred warning to never open that door, she upsets the balance between life and death.
