[Podcast] The Visit — Episode 128 — Horror News Radio

M. Night Shyamalan returns to the horror genre with the Blumhouse produced found-footage film THE VISIT – and only Doc Rotten is happy about it. Well, maybe he has a few other Grue-Crew co-hosts on his side. Or, not. And, just how funny is this horror film really anyways…

Dave begins the  HORROR NEWS OF THE WEEK segment with news rumors of a US King Kong vs Godzilla film in the works. Can it be so? Also, the Grue-Crew discuss the awesome POV action trailer for Hardcore.  Joseph Perry returns with four more reviews from the BiFan Internation Film Festival: Why Horror?, Extraordinary Tales, Yakuza Apocalypse and Night Fare.

Co-hosts  Doc Rotten,  Santos (The Black Saint) Ellin Jr.,  Dave Dreher,  Thomas Mariani  and  Vixen, the voice of reason, are back again this week to give you the best in horror as they recap, review and obliterate all that is horror this week!

 Review: The Visit  (2015)

The Grue-crew contemplate the results of mixing found-footage, creepy old crazy people and weather-worn director M. Night Shyamalan for the Blumhouse film THE VISIT. “Yahtzee!” Ah, things don’t go as well as planned for poor Doc Rotten who once again likes a film that Thomas and The Black Saint…absolutely despise. At least this week, he has guest-host Christopher G. Moore to back him up – and maybe Vixen as well.

Convention Report: Dragon Con  (2015)

Christopher G. Moore steps in from the Hannibal Fan Podcast to share his visit to Dragon Con 2015. He has all the skinny on the horror track, the Hannibal happenings and the cosplay.
