[Trailer] The Final Girls (2015)

THE FINAL GIRLS (not to be confused with Final Girl with Abigail Breslin) trailer promises an entertaining blend of 80’s slasher horror gore, silly comedy laughs  and meta referential fun as its lead character, Max Cartwright (Taissa Farmiga – American Horror Story), is transported into the final feature her mother, Amanda Cartwright (Malin Akerman), made before passing away. Check it out, Grue-Believers, this film may one of the best things coming fall 2015. What do you think?

Director Todd Strauss-Schulson teams up with writers M.A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller to bring THE FINAL GIRLS to theaters this fall. The film stars Taissa Farmiga, Nina Dobrev, Malin Akerman, Alexander Ludwig, Alia Shawkat, Adam DeVine and Chloe Bridges. “Hilarious,” “Remarkable” and “A Crowd Pleaser” are just some of the high-praise this film is receiving. HNR’s very own Thomas Mariani caught an early screening at SXSW 2015, check out his thoughts on Horror News Radio episode 103.
