Joe lives in the coal region of Northeastern PA with his beautiful wife Mary and their French Bulldogs Watson and Xander. He's a huge fan of all things horror and can't explain why especially since he was afraid of everything as a kid. He co-hosts the Indie Infestation podcast which gives a platform for those involved in the indie horror scene to get their name and projects out there. When he's not working he is usually watching the latest horror movie or show, at the gym with his wife or taking in a sporting event, Eagles! His all time favorite horror movie is the original Halloween, still effective to this day. Hit him up on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or drop an email, let him know what's awesome.

Returning to the Drive-In: Nostalgia Is a Wonderful Thing

Nostalgia is a wonderful thing.  Whether it’s seeing an old friend, a certain smell in the air or hearing a song you haven’t heard in years, those things can teleport us back to a memory or feeling to revel in if only for a moment.  One of those nostalgic things is Drive-in theaters.  An invention […]

“Bonejangles” (2017): A Film That Will Tickle Your Funny Bone-jangles

In this modern day where anyone can make a film and get it to the public quite easily thanks to the interwebs, I have learned to curb my enthusiasm by lowering expectations when I can.  As a writer that reviews mostly horror I have found very little in the way of what I would term […]

“Chupacabra Territory” (2016): Confusing Liberties with Lore Drag Down Found-Footage Effort

I always try to root for non-theatrical, low-budget films because oftentimes, maximum effort is put into them, although low budgets, new directors or writers, or lack of star power can create an uphill battle. That being said, I ignored the warning postings and ventured into Chupacabra Territory. Taking liberties with a film is fine; as a matter of […]

Grue-Believers, this past weekend (March 31 – April 2, 2017), the Thug made his way to the New Jersey Horror Con in Edison, New Jersey. It was a miserable night outside as it had been pouring rain all day but my spirits were quickly lifted when I arrived. Although, not the largest con I have attended, […]

“The Walking Dead” S07E16: The First Day of the Rest of Your Life

Grue-Believers, season seven of The Walking Dead has come to an end. Judging by online reactions, this made a lot of people happy due to the heavy abundance of lackluster episodes. “The Walking Dead” S07E14: The Other Side

Grue-Believers, how the heck was your week? My week was sunny and in the 80’s out in California. Unfortunately, I came back to a whopping 24 inches of snow in northeastern Pennsylvania. The 24 inches was a record for the most snow to fall in a 24 hour period here. Speaking of falling, viewership for […]
