[Trailer] Director Zach Cregger Reinvents The World Of RESIDENT EVIL

Zach Cregger is responsible for two of the most original and engrossing horror films of the last few years. BARBARIANS was great, and his latest film, WEAPONS, well, I don’t need to tell you about that one.

When word dropped that he would be helming a new chapter in the RESIDENT EVIL franchise, I was excited, but now that we’ve gotten our first look via SONY in the form of a teaser trailer – I can honestly tell you, I think this might be my most anticipated genre film of the year. Check out this madness.

What the actual hell is that all about! I’m totally in for this insanity!

In the film “A hapless courier tasked with delivering a package to a remote hospital finds himself caught in the middle of an outbreak and must fight through hordes of mutated creatures to survive.” Set in the Racoon City universe, this chapter is said to have no other ties to the games or previous film franchise. A good thing, if you want my opinion.

Sept. 18th – circle the day, this is gonna be a good one!
