Hour-Long Special Celebrates RE-ANIMATOR And Its Return To FULL MOON FEATURES

Arguably the most WTF adaptation ever of a Lovecraft tale – Re-Animator holds a special place in many a horror fan’s hearts – the one constructing this article included. Jeffrey Comb’s portrayal of Herbert West is horror legend – and from director Stuart Gordon to the remaining cast – it is a cult classic from beginning to end.

The film was of course produced by Full Moon Features head Charles Band – another legend – who has been able to bring the classic film back home to Full Moon (where it belongs, in my opinion) and that, of course, means a celebration must be planned.

Got the info for you – read on for all the greatness the press release reveals:

“Producer Charles Band and director Stuart Gordon’s 1985 Empire Pictures classic RE-ANIMATOR is widely considered one of the greatest horror movies of all time. Now, we’re bringing RE-ANIMATOR home to the Full Moon mothership in all its gory glory, fully uncut and out of control with an all-new special edition!”

“In RE-ANIMATOR: REUNION EDITION, Band invites original RE-ANIMATOR stars Barbara Crampton and Jeffrey Combs to sit with him in the studio and reflect on the film’s legacy as well as their nearly four decades of making movies together, including CASTLE FREAK, THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM, FROM BEYOND and more. It’s the full, unrated feature film attached to a funny, revealing and insightful one hour special that is a MUST SEE for all RE-ANIMATOR fans and a heartfelt tribute to the late, great Stuart Gordon.

RE-ANIMATOR: REUNION EDITION premieres THIS FRIDAY (3/4/22) exclusively on the Full Moon Features channel and app, with a premiere on Full Moon’s Amazon Prime channel arriving next week. Spread the word!”

So – there you have it – this special is streaming right now, as you read this so – if you’re not yet signed up for this truly one-of-a-kind streaming service – CLICK HERE – and take care of that right now. As the release states – if you’re signed up through Amazon Prime – you’ll have to wait another week but – it’s coming so, calm down.
