This morning Universal dropped the trailer for the latest from horror wunderkind Jordan Peele – it’s been kept under pretty tight wraps till this point – only releasing a one-sheet poster that still managed to get folks talking. If that poster got your attention- this trailer should put you over the top.

The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
Nope, which co-stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock, Westworld) and Brandon Perea (The OA, American Insurrection), is written and directed by Jordan Peele and is produced by Ian Cooper (Us, Candyman) and Jordan Peele for Monkeypaw Productions. The film will be released by Universal Pictures worldwide.
If you’ve been listening or reading my rants for any length of time you’re well aware that I’ve been slow to climb aboard the “Jordan Peele is the next Hitchcock” bandwagon – but I have to admit, this looks freaking amazing.
July 22nd – it looks like there may be an invasion afoot.
