I am really curious to see where this show takes us – they got my attention when they announced that one of my favorite directors – Steven Kostanski – had jumped on board to direct four of the ten episodes – and this trailer I’m about to show you seems pretty solid. Have a look.
The channel explains the show as the tale of:
“six strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. This ode to Romero’s famous flesh-eaters reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.”
It appears as if the show will have nothing to do with the characters or storyline for Romero’s classic but instead looks to just bring the dark humor and bloodshed that we had come to expect from a Romero flick. Will they succeed? Guess we’ll have to watch and find out.
No official debut date – at least that I could find but they are saying October – which makes sense.
