Charles Band Brings Hollywood To Ohio As He Opens ‘Full Moon Manor’

Full Moon Features now has a studio right in my backyard. Northeast Ohio is now the proud location of the latest en-devour of director, producer, and genre hero Charles Band. He has purchased a large house in Cleveland Heights and has converted it into a fully functional studio – yep, Full Moon Studios – right here in Cleveland.

Band has dubbed the location Full Moon Manor – and as I type this article director William Butler and his crew is busy filming the first feature at the new location. Baby Oopsie – a new chapter in the Demonic Toys series of films is about 4 days into a 7-day shoot. Filming will wrap up over the holiday weekend and Band is predicting Baby Oopsie will be ready for Full Moon fans as early as the end of June. That’s how Charles Band does it – pump them out fast and cheap.

He’s hoping to shoot up to 12 films a year at this new Cleveland location – that’s a lot of horror coming from right here – “the best location in the nation”.

Northeast Ohio has a rich horror heritage – and it is great to see an iconic figure like Charles Band recognize and help build upon that.
