CBS Releases Trailer To Tease New Series ‘Clarice’

The world of Hannibal Lector made for a stand out TV series – so shouldn’t the world of the other main character from the universe of Thomas Harris hold the same potential? We’re about to find out as CBS is all set to roll out CLARICE – and they just released a trailer to peak our interest.

Unlike the upcoming retelling of The Stand – you won’t need a subscription to CBS All Access to watch CLARICE – although it will be available on the streaming service – you’ll be able to watch this one on your local CBS channel, just like the good ole days.

Here’s the breakdown from the studio:

“A new psychological thriller takes you into 1993, a year after the events of “The Silence of the Lambs,” to explore the untold personal story of Clarice Starling. The FBI agent returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington, D.C. Watch the series premiere of Clarice on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 10/9c on CBS and CBS All Access.”

While I think a good portion of us would have rather been treated to a Season Four of Hannibal – with their retelling of the Clarice Starling storyline – I’m more than willing to give this one a chance – I kind of like the idea of a weekly series with Clarice wandering the country taking down all the assorted wack jobs this country can serve up.

Feb. 11th – 10 PM. Let’s see what happens.
