The Trailer For ‘The Dark And The Wicked’ Looks Well, Dark And Wicked

The tag team of RLJE Films and Shudder have been bringing us some pretty kick ass content of late – and from the looks of this trailer I’m about to show you – that trend is not going to end anytime soon.

The latest release from the two is something titled The Dark And The Wicked. It’s directed by Brian Bertino. If that name sounds familiar, it should, he’s the one who brought us The Strangers. Want to see the trailer? Do ya? Do ya?

It’s set for a theatrical release on November 6th and then will make a trip to the Shudder service at some point in 2021.

Synopsis you say? Of course we have one!

“On a secluded farm, a man is slowly dying. Bedridden and fighting through his final breaths, his wife is slowly succumbing to overwhelming grief. To help their mother and say goodbye to their father, siblings Louise (Marin Ireland) and Michael (Michael Abbott Jr.) return to their family farm. It doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mom, though—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, as their own grief mounts, Louise and Michael begin suffering from a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that something evil is taking over their family.”

Looks pretty creepy – let’s hope it plays at a theater or drive in somewhere close to everyone.
