Netflix has pumped out some amazing horror over the last few years but none much better then their 2017 Samara Weaving vehicle, The Babysitter. It was a pretty great little film – with a break out performance from Ms. Weaving and guess what? It’s getting a sequel.
Heading our way via the streaming service on Sept. 10th is The Babysitter: Killer Queen – trailer ahead!
The official synopsis:
“Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole’s trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.”
Cast wise we’ve got Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Jenna Ortega, Robbie Amell, Andrew Bachelor, Leslie Bibb, Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne, Ken Marino, Chris Wylde, Carl McDowell, Juliocesar Chavez, Maximilian Acevedo, Jennifer Foster, and Helen Hong. No mention of Samara – although they kind of tease her return there in the trailer – is she, isn’t she? We’ll find out on Sept. 10th.
