The Zombie Apocalypse Has Gotten Even Scarier In The Trailer Debut For ‘Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula’

There is no questioning that Train to Busan was one of the best zombie/infection flicks ever put to film. I hate subtitled films – like, with a passion hate them but the visual gut punch that Train to Busan packed was so visceral – it still managed to hold the top spot in the Top Ten that year.

And today I share with you that trailer for the next chapter in the Train universe – titled Peninsula – it will tell the following story:

“Four years after South Korea’s total decimation in TRAIN TO BUSAN, the zombie thriller that captivated audiences worldwide, acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho brings us PENINSULA, the next nail-biting chapter in his post-apocalyptic world. Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.”

Strap in – this one is pretty intense!

Well Go USA has wrapped up the US distribution rights and has yet to give us all a firm release date but a vague mention of a Summer 2020 release has been floated. Let’s hope it’s sooner than later because I want to feast my eyes on this bad boy – and I don’t want to wait.

They rolled out the key art for the flick as well.
