A Trailer And A Poster Appear For IFC Midnight’s ‘Disappearance At Clifton Rock’

Any film that comes with that IFC Midnight banner immediately gets my attention – they’ve managed to send out some of my favorite films of the last few years – and they will try to work their magic once again with the release of Disappearance At Clifton Rock.

A trailer and poster have made their debut – let’s have a look, shall we?

Officially being tagged as a “thriller” the flick tells the following tale:

“Following the death of her mother, Abby (Middleton), a troubled young woman with a checkered past, returns to her hometown of Niagara Falls and the dilapidated motel her family used to run. While there, she finds herself drawn once again into a mystery that has haunted her since childhood: what happened to the young boy she saw being violently abducted in the woods twenty-five years ago?

As Abby sets out to find out the truth, she must confront both a shocking, long-buried conspiracy that runs as deep as the falls themselves as well as her own inner demons.”

The film stars Tuppence Middleton, Hannah Gross, David Cronenberg, Eric Johnson, and Marie-Josée Croze.

It hits theaters and On Demand on Feb. 28th.
