Marilyn Manson Releases Cover Of ‘The End’ Which Will Appear In The Remake Of ‘The Stand’

Marilyn Manson’s involvement in the upcoming CBS All Access retelling of Stephen Kings The Stand was reported months back – and while he will be appearing in the production – he will also be featured on the soundtrack and today we have our first glimpse of what that’s going to sound like, putting his signature Manson spin on a cover of The Doors classic – The End.

Josh Boone is directing this 10 episode CBS All Access exclusive series – and the cast has come together quite nicely – James Marsden as Stu Redman, Amber Heard as Nadine Cross, Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abagail, Greg Kinnear as Glen Bateman, Odessa Young as Frannie Goldsmith, and Henry Zaga will play Nick Andros.

Jovan Adepo will play Larry Underwood, Owen Teague as Harold Lauder, Brad William Henke will play Tom Cullen, and who will play the big bad, who will don the boots and become “the walking dude”? That will be Alexander Skarsgard as Randall Flagg.

Huge story – huge cast – a huge undertaking. Time to get excited about this one folks – production is ramping up – and for now, we listen to this song on repeat as we await our first glimpse at what this group of talented artists has in store for us.
