I love it when films just kind of sneak up on me. Had not heard a word about The Furies but – today we got a trailer for the Australian release of the film – I can not wait for this one to make it to the states. Have a look, then we’ll chat a bit.
They are promising a blood bath with this one – the director states he wanted things “messy and visceral” and that over 100 liters of blood stained the set when all was said and done.
The trailer pretty much sets things up – ladies awaken in the woods to find themselves hunted by separate maniacs – and it looks like things get a little bit crazy. As of the time of this writing – we don’t have a US release date – Aussie readers get to have some fun on Nov. 7th. Watching closely though and when that US date gets announced – I’ll toss it your way.
