Getting Creepy with Rion – Indie Infestation

We at Indie Infestation like awesome things. So when the Joe was contacted by an up and coming director about his YouTube channel of Lovecraft-ian styled shorts he said “what the heck” and checked them out. What Joe discovered was that writer/director Rion Smith is on to something awesome so the boys invited him on this week.

Rion Smith at the Portland Horror Film Festival

Mike “Cookie Lips” Lombardo became fast friends with Rion as they gushed about all thing Lovecraft and what drives Rion’s storytelling. There are sets of shorts on the channel that are a continuing story that will eventually intertwine with the other shorts for a big story with a big end.

Rion also has been working with some other directors and has been having them on his channel as well as long as it meets the approval process that Mike and his partners in crime put it through to ensure it meshes with the overlying storylines.

Rion states that he is a nurse by day to support his film habit and that given the opportunity he would make the jump to film full time. Although Zane was absent this week (secret hair mission); Joe, Justin, and Mike bring the pain and of course another Seaman Enterprises product sure to cool you off! By all means, strap in and get ready as the tones of the Infestation carry you away. By all means check Rion’s Creepy TV Channel out on YouTube at the following link:

Joe lives in the coal region of Northeastern PA with his beautiful wife Mary and their French Bulldogs Watson and Xander. He's a huge fan of all things horror and can't explain why especially since he was afraid of everything as a kid. He co-hosts the Indie Infestation podcast which gives a platform for those involved in the indie horror scene to get their name and projects out there. When he's not working he is usually watching the latest horror movie or show, at the gym with his wife or taking in a sporting event, Eagles! His all time favorite horror movie is the original Halloween, still effective to this day. Hit him up on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or drop an email, let him know what's awesome.
