It doesn’t seem right to be calling this The Haunting of Hill House Season Two – although I guess it technically is – this new season will be based on another famous ghost story. While it has been announced that director Mike Flanagan will, in fact, be returning there is no word if any of the cast will be returning – but one can hope, right?
The second chapter in this new “The Haunting “ series will be titled The Haunting Of Bly Manor which will be an adaptation of the Henry James tale The Turn Of The Screw.
Netflix officially announced this news as follows:
“Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy are masterful at creating authentically frightening stories that leave audiences on the edge of their seats but unable to look away. We’re excited to continue our partnership with them on The Haunting series and future projects to come.”
I loved The Haunting Of Hill House – it was actually my favorite horror release of the year – period so, I think it goes without saying that I am all over Flanagan and Co. taking the ball and running with this one.
