‘Believe It Or Not’ Bruce Campbell Is Returning To TV

Everyone’s favorite wise ass demon slayer – the one and only Mr. Bruce Campbell – has only been missing from the small screen for about a year, since Starz stuck a dagger into what was arguably the best genre show going. But you can’t keep a good man down and the always confident Mr. Campbell is about to recreate himself again – this time for a show on The Travel Channel – and it’s a show some of you may remember.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not was huge back when I was a kid. I remember heading up to Niagara Falls to check out the museum that had been constructed there – and as far as I know still exists. But mainly I remember the TV show that aired on ABC in the 80’s. Jack Palance hosted and each week he brought us strange and true stories from around the world – Believe It or Not.

The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Phenomenon dates all the way back 1919 and it’s rather exciting that as a 100th Birthday present – it appears as if the show will be making a return thanks to The Travel Channel.

The announcment of the show – and of Mr. Campbell’s involvement in it came via Twitter.

It’s official! @GroovyBruce will be the host of the all-new Ripley’s Believe It or Not! show coming to @travelchannel in 2019! pic.twitter.com/kXRIZQu9ng– Believe It or Not! (@Ripleys) January 1, 2019

No firm date – just at promise of “sometime in 2019” so – we’ll be watching!
