No offense meant to the myriad of incredible talent that makes up the cast of American Horror Story but I don’t think it’s any big secret nor is it incorrect to state that the show has suffered since Jessica Lange departed after the Freakshow season.
Well AHS fans – it is now safe to rejoice as the showrunners have made it official – Jessica Lange will be returning for AHS: Apocalypse!
Been a big news week for AHS with Fox announcing that they have renewed the show through Season Ten and now with this news of the return of Ms. Lange for Season Eight – very nice indeed!
As previously reported – this upcoming season will be a crossover season – a mash up if you will of the debut season – Murder House and the much beloved Coven season – both of which featured stand out performances by Jessica Lange. Jessica will be reprising her role of Constance Langdon – from Murder House.
Also on board are Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Foxx and Billie Dean Howard, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Joan Collins, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner and Adina Porter.
I’m liking how this season is shaping up – can’t wait to see what awaits us!
