News on the new Hulu series Castle Rock – based on a Stephen King Universe has been sparce but, that all changes to tonight as we get a decently indepth teaser trailer and a debut date announcement. First up – let’s look at the eye candy – shall we?
The fictional town of Castle Rock is no stranger to the die hard King fan – it has been the center of some of the iconic authors most enduring tales – at one time it was even the title of his fan club newsletter. Loving the idea of some serious world building. How long do we have to wait to visit Castle Rock? July 25th is when Hulu will upload for all to see. Here’s the brief synopsis provided by the streaming service:
They state the show is “an original story that combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.”
Some serious talent along for the ride – Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd, Terry O’Quinn, Scott Glenn, André Holland, Sissy Spacek, and Chosen Jacobs all lend thier considerable talents.
