Teaser Trailer Takes Us Inside ‘WINCHESTER: The House That Ghosts Built’

Going to be an exciting new few months for The Spierig Brothers – Michael and Peter.  Haven’t heard or seen anything from the directing duo in a few years and now we get back to back releases.  JIGSAW over Halloween and then early next year we get the “based on real events” haunted house flick WINCHESTER: The House That Ghosts Built.

CBS Films have begun the PR blitz and as such we’ve gotten some poster art and a teaser trailer to show you.  First up, the video coolness.

Helen Mirren, Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook, and Angus Sampson all star in the film that will tell the tale of:

“firearm heiress Sarah Winchester, who was convinced that she was haunted by the souls killed at the hands of the Winchester Repeating Rifle. After the sudden deaths of her husband and child, she threw herself into the 24-hours a day, seven days a week construction of an enormous mansion designed to keep the evil spirits at bay. But when skeptical San Francisco psychiatrist Eric Price is dispatched to the estate to evaluate her state of mind, he discovers that her obsession may not be so insane after all. The film will take audiences inside the labyrinth-like house that is believed to be one of the most haunted places in the world.”

Feb. 2nd is when we can all file into the theaters and check out this spookfest.

Here’s the poster art.
