It is not over-emphasizing his career to call Tom Holland a genre legend. As a director and writer, he has brought us some of the genre’s most iconic films and characters. Fright Night (84), Child’s Play, Psycho II – he directed several episodes of Tales from the Crypt and Masters of Horror. Like I said – a legend.
Tom has a new project locked and loaded – titled Rock Paper Dead – according to Deadline – it’s going to tell the following story:
“The film follows a serial killer Peter “The Doll Maker” Harris, who returns to his ancestral family estate after being released from the state’s hospital for the criminally insane after 20 years as a cured man. Once inside the old house, anguished memories from a tortured childhood and visitations from past victims shake Peter’s resolve, but it isn’t until the lovely young Ashley enters his life that Peter makes a fateful decision that rekindles old desires that have always ended in murder.”
A trailer has made its way to the Gruesome offices and I figured you were going to want to see it – behold!
Luke Macfarlane, Jennifer Titus, Michael Madsen, Tatum O’Neal, Anna Margaret, Gabrielle Stone, and Maureen McCormick all lend their talents while Tom Holland directs from a script written by Kerry Fleming and Victor Miller.
