Netflix Delves Into The Minds Of Serial Killers With The Teaser Debut Of ‘Mindhunter’

Netflix is slaying it on the genre front – seems like every time you turn around there is another new project that is added to the must watch list and today this holds true once again.   A new collaboration between the streaming service and David Fincher has resulted in Mindhunter and damn if it doesn’t like fine.   Here’s the teaser.

Ok, here’s what we know.   The show will debut in October and stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallanay, Anna Torv and Hannah Gross.   Episodes have been directed by David Fincher, Andrew Douglas, Asif Kapadia, and Tobias Lindholm. The series follows this formula:

“Set in 1979, the TV series centers on the inquisitive and skilled FBI Agent Bill Tench (McCallany). Along with fellow serial killer investigator in the behavioral science unit, FBI agent Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff), Tench interviews serial killers to help them solve current murders.”

The show is based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker and if it’s not yet on your must-see list for this year – put it there now.
