Easily one of the most anticipated films of the 2017 season – Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant has been the source of much conversation and fan interest. We’ve all been waiting to get a look at he might have in store for us with this continuation of the Prometheus story and if this trailer can serve as a gauge in any way – things are looking up.
Certainly looks like we’ll be steering back into more of a horror-shaded tale, and that is all good by me.
Ridley Scott directs Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, James Franco, and Noomi Rapace and we’ll all be treated to this next chapter in the Alien saga come May 19th.
Here’s the storyline:
“The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.”
