[Podcast] Cooties — Episode 129 — Horror News Radio

Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBrayer and Leigh Whannell lead the cast for the horror comedy Cooties from directors  Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion. The Grue-crew gleefully watch as the film follows a group of teachers trapped inside their school as their students turn into flesh-eating zombies out to kill them all. Is it funny? Is it scary? Guest-host, Christopher G. Moore is on hand to share his thoughts as well.

Dave begins the  HORROR NEWS OF THE WEEK segment with news about a potential Mist TV show, a possible Jordon Peel horror film (Get Out) from Blumhouse and the Kickstarter future of the horror game Allison Road.  Joseph Perry returns with three  more reviews from the BiFan Internation Film Festival: The Stranger (Chile), American Burger (Sweden) and I Survived a Zombie Holocaust (New Zealand).

Co-hosts  Doc Rotten,  Santos (The Black Saint) Ellin Jr.,  Dave Dreher,  Thomas Mariani  and  Vixen, the voice of reason, are back again this week to give you the best in horror as they recap, review and obliterate all that is horror this week!  Oh, and don’t forget – Stump the Saint!

 Review: Cooties  (2015)

In a curious turn, the thoughts from the Grue-crew – and special guest-host Christopher G. Moore – about the new horror comedy Cooties are all across the board from loving it to absolutely hating it. Arguably more so than horror, comedy is extremely subjective with the  Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion directed film appealing to Christopher who gives it a 4.0. On the other end lies Thomas Mariani, giving the film a 0.5. Insane. This is the review you want to listen to.
