Jeepers Creepers 3 set to begin production early 2016

According to Variety, American Zoetrope and director Victor Salva are finally set to bring the Jeepers Creepers franchise back to life with a third film to begin production in Vancouver in early 2016. The first two films, Jeepers Creepers (2001) and Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003) are no slouches having grossed $120 million at the box office. But,  is it  too late to bring a third feature to the theaters? At this time, the news points to the film being a legit sequel instead of another reboot, retread or re-calibration, so we may be getting The Creeper back in form picking up where we left off from the second film.

The news from Myriad Pictures only provides casting that Jonathan Breck is set to reprise his role as the titular creature, The Creeper, while Brandon Smith will be seen again as Sergeant Davis Tubbs. Personally, I would like to see Ray Wise return as well.

Are you looking forward to another installment of JEEPERS CREEPERS?
